“He was an very modest man, even though his artwork was amazing”
'I did it because I was obsessed with drawing not because I thought I was any good"
Chas Grigg was a cartoonist who drew Desperate Dan, Korky the Cat and many other characters for the D C Thomson comics – Dandy, Beano, Topper and Judy, in the 1960’s to 1980’s.
He drew the Dandy front cover Korky for over 20 years.
He also drew nearly 200 saucy seaside postcards signed ‘CHAS’ for Bamforths.
